Segway’s E3 Pro is my go-to e-scooter with a range of 34 miles, Apple Find My, more for the second best price at $550

Segway currently offers its E3 Pro Electric Scooter $549.99 shippedIt’s also price-matched on Amazon. Although it’s listed at $700 MSRP straight from the brand, we’ve been seeing it frequently hover around $600 there, while it starts at that price on Amazon. Discounts have been rarer and rarer since prices hit the US market in 2025, though we last saw it drop on Black Friday when it hit $500. If you missed that price, you’re getting the next best price here while these savings last, giving you $50 off the ride price (and $150 off the MSRP) on the e-scooter that’s become my new go-to since I stepped forward in our review last year. There are a few other models that see different discounts on the Amazon storefront here, while others see their regular discounted prices offered directly from the brand’s website here.

Although I have my Lectric XP4 750 e-bike for long trips to the five boroughs of NYC, the Segway E3 Pro electric scooter has become my primary mode of transportation in and around Brooklyn, mostly because it’s light and easy to handle up and down my stairs on short trips to the market.

The E3 Pro is a 40-pound e-scooter that boasts some significant steps up from its predecessor the E2 Pro, sporting a 400W motor (with a peak of 800W) powered by a 368Wh battery to travel up to 34 kilometers at speeds of up to 20 MPH. That increased travel is due to both the inclusion of the product’s SegRange Optimization technology and self-regenerative braking, while safety is enhanced by SegRide stability-enhancing technology, the latest traction control system, turn signals, RGB ambient lighting for night travel, and a headlight.

The best thing is that I can now use the lock controlled by its app, as well as Apple Find My, which gives me more peace of mind if anyone dares to try or succeed in stealing it, since I can track it down and get it back in true New York fashion (if you know, you know).

The dual elastomer suspension on this new model came in handy especially when riding over potholes or potholes, giving me a much smoother ride than I ever had on my E22 model that started my Segway journey in 2020. Other features here include 10-inch self-sealing gel tires, IPX5 non-blocking 3-inch full-color, 26-inch full-color non-blocking LED. screen, front drum braking to complement rear regenerative braking, and more.
