Four of the best Super Bowl TV deals we’ve found

The Super Bowl is not only the biggest sporting event in the world, it is also one of the best times of the year to get a deal on a big screen TV. For large events especially, a large TV makes sense because it provides an immersive experience and allows groups of friends to get together and enjoy the game together. And as interest in large TVs grows, prices continue to drop, making them more affordable than ever – especially during the sales you’ll get this week.

Which TV is best for you and your location will depend on several factors: how much light your room has, how big a TV you can take, what your viewing habits are (aside from the Super Bowl), and what your budget is. But luckily there are many good TVs in different sizes and price ranges to choose from.

There are several reasons why S95F it’s one of the best TVs you can get for game day. It’s bright enough to withstand ambient light that might come in through windows or ceiling lights, and it has a non-sticky matte finish that greatly reduces glare. So, you’ll be able to keep the lights on to see your food and drink and the display won’t get in the way of seeing any action on the screen. The S95F is a QD-OLED with excellent color accuracy and vibrancy that will make the stadium and players look real, and the OLED technology allows for wide viewing angles, which keeps the picture unchanged for you and your friends regardless of who is relegated to the edge seats.

As a flagship TV, the Samsung S95F isn’t the cheapest on this list – the 65-inch model retails for $2,297.99 on Amazon – but it’s one of the best TVs on the market. Although, Samsung’s built-in OS Tizen is not intuitive, with some useful features buried in the menus. However, if you have a room that gets a lot of sun during the day, but you want an OLED movie experience at night, the Samsung S95F delivers.

LG’s midrange C5 TV is a great way to get OLED performance without paying top dollar. It has great brightness, excellent color accuracy out of the box, and great gaming features including 4K @ 144Hz.

LG C5 its mid-range OLED line, and one I’ve been recommending for years. As an OLED with pixel-level brightness control, it has excellent black levels and color accuracy. It’s not the same as the S95F in terms of light output, and it has a glossy screen finish so the display can be distracting if you’re in a room with lots of light, but its picture quality is amazing. You can also get more screen size for less money compared to Samsung, with a 65-inch model currently available for less than $1,400.

The C4, a model of LG’s 2024 C-series, is also still available for sale (Amazon seller has the 65-inch for $1,176.95). Although it is a year older than the C5, there is not much difference between the two models. Yes, it’s not as bright as the C5, but if you don’t have a problem with ambient light and want something that offers good image quality, deep blacks, and accurate colors out of the box, it’s worth considering.

TCL’s mid-range QM7K features a QD-Mini LED TV with a 144Hz refresh rate, hundreds of local dimmers for more precise light control, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.

I QM7K is TCL’s midrange quantum dot mini-LED TV and is a great way to get a big screen in your living room without spending a lot of money. The 75-inch model is currently only available for $999.99 at Best Buy, and a few bucks cheaper at Amazon and Walmart. For the 2025 model year, TCL has made improvements in its control of blooming, so the QM7K handles that better than previous models, as well as preventing light from bright images from bleeding into the dark areas of the screen. The QM7K uses an HVA panel which helps with its viewing angles, although it doesn’t match OLED performance.

There are also good deals on the budget-friendly model, the QM6K (you can get 10 more inches of screen size for the same price as the 75-inch QM7K), but its brightness isn’t nearly as bright as the QM7K, so the picture won’t have the same impact. If you really want more screen and don’t care about contrast, the QM6K will do the job, but I think it’s worth the extra cost to step up to the QM7K instead.

Hisense U7 TVHisense U7 TV

For the past few years, Hisense has been offering great deals on big TVs for the Super Bowl, and this year is no different. If you want a really big TV, 100 inch Hisense U75QG available for just under $2,200 at both Best Buy and Amazon. That’s less than the 65-inch Samsung S95F’s additional 35 inches of diagonal screen real estate. The U75QG is also the brightest TV in this range – it hits nearly 3,000 luminance for the best small pictures – so it has no problem holding its own in any ambient light. It looks really good out of the box with SDR (most broadcast TV) signals, so Levi’s Stadium will look real. And with a 100-inch screen, the game (and the ads) will be incredibly engaging.

When the game is over, the U75QG works as a great everyday TV with good black levels and gaming support with 4K support at a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. Its HDR color isn’t as accurate as SDR (it tends to be a little bluer as the image gets brighter), but it’ll still work well for movies and casual viewing.
