No Major Design Changes Coming to iPhone 18 Models, Leaks Claim

The iPhone 18 lineup will not have significant design changes, according to a publisher known as “Fixed Focus Digital.”
A Weibo user says that since the iPhone 17 series has been successful with high sales, the iPhone 18 models will probably not have major changes in their appearance. Rather than promoting design changes, Apple is apparently likely to focus more on chip improvements for the A20 and A20 Pro, which may be Apple’s first 2nm silicon chips. This development is expected to be a key talking point regarding new devices later this year.
The iPhone 17 Pro models have seen a major redesign, following two years of the same design across the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro. The iPhone 12 Pro, 13 Pro, and 14 Pro also share much of the same design, as do the iPhone X, iPhone XS, and iPhone 11 Pro. The redesign of the iPhone 18 【The next successive generations will be unprecedented, which makes it very likely that the iPhone 18 Pro will look very similar to the device currently on sale.
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected to launch later this year, featuring a smaller Dynamic Island, C2 modem, simplified Camera Control, a 24-megapixel front-facing camera, and an improved main camera with variable aperture. The iPhone 18 is expected to follow in early 2027, featuring similar upgrades.
