New Series
Perfect Women
Based on Araminta Hall’s novel of the same name, “Imperfect Women” is a psychological thriller that “explores the crime that interrupts the lives of three women’s decades-long friendship.” The series stars Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington, and Kate Mara.
Margo Has Money Problems
“Margo’s Got Money Troubles” is described as a “brave, fun, and funny family drama” that follows college freshman and aspiring writer Margo (Elle Fanning), the daughter of a former Hooters waitress (Michelle Pfeiffer) and a former wrestler (Nick Offerman). Margo has a new baby, mounting debts, and dwindling means to pay for things.
Widow’s Bay
Apple says “Widow’s Bay” combines real horror with character-driven comedy.
Widow’s Bay is “an island town 40 miles off the coast of New England,” but “something lurks beneath.” Mayor Tom Loftis (Matthew Rhys) is desperate to revive his struggling community, but as visitors begin to arrive, it appears that the local residents may have been right about the island’s curse.
Lots of Fun Guaranteed
Billed as a dark comedy, “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed” follows newly divorced mother Paula (Tatiana Maslany).
“Convinced that she witnessed a murder – while at the same time struggling with a custody battle and an identity crisis – Paula begins her investigation, which may uncover a larger conspiracy while holding the keys to rebuilding her family and sense of pride.”
Fear in Cape Town
A mini-series, inspired by the 1991 remake directed by Martin Scorsese and produced by Steven Spielberg: “A storm is coming to the happy marriage of lawyers Anna (Amy Adams) and Tom Bowden (Patrick Wilson) when Max Cady (Javier Bardem), a famous murderer who is responsible for the imprisonment – and wants to get out of prison.”
Lucky
Based on the best-selling novel by Marissa Stapley, “Luck” centers on a young woman (Anya Taylor-Joy) who “left behind the life of crime she was raised in years ago, but now must embrace her dark, criminal side one last time in a desperate attempt to escape her past.”

“Outcome” is a dark comedy that focuses on Reef Hawk (Keanu Reeves), a Hollywood star who is facing fraud. With the support of his longtime friends Kyle (Cameron Diaz) and Xander (Matt Bomer), as well as his lawyer Ira (Jonah Hill), Reef tries to make amends with whoever may have wronged him in hopes of identifying the shooter.
Forever
“Eternity” is a rom-com: “In the afterlife where souls have one week to decide where they will spend eternity, Joan (Elizabeth Olsen) is faced with an impossible choice between the man she spends her life with (Miles Teller) and her first love (Callum Turner), who died young and has been waiting decades for him to arrive.
Dink
In this comedy movie, “washed-up tennis player Dusty Boyd (Jake Johnson) is reduced to coaching unruly kids at his father Chuck’s (Ed Harris) country club. Desperate for his father’s approval, Dusty blindly supports Chuck’s vendetta against a new craze taking over the club: pickleball.”
May Day
Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh team up for “Mayday,” “a twisty, action-packed buddy comedy that turns a spy on its head.”
“When US Navy pilot Lieutenant Troy ‘Assassin’ Kelly (Reynolds) is sent on a top-secret mission into Russian territory during the Cold War, the mission backfires, leaving him trapped behind enemy lines. Matchbox: The Movie
Inspired by Mattel’s toys, “Matchbox: The Movie” is an action-packed, global adventure about a group of childhood friends whose lives are turned upside down when undercover CIA agent Sean (John Cena), their former leader who was absent, returns to their small town and unknowingly plunges them into the pursuit of a busy world.
The Way of the Child Hero
Drama film based on the 2017 children’s novel of the same name by Jocko Willink: “Middle school has been a nightmare for Marc (Jude Hill), a good kid who is bullied by his classmates and feels like he’s behind in everything, from studies to PE to just making friends. That changes when his injured Uncle Jake arrives to decorate the Navy summer, Chris Pratt and Marcute and his mother, Sarah (Linda Cardellini).”
